We've been on the house tour several times so on this trip we just wanted to visit the winery and surrounding shops. They sell tickets to the state house saying its by appointment only. We tried to change our time and they said we couldntwhen we got there we noticed that was not by appointment There are more attractions spread out into seperate areas on the Estate. Be prepaired to do some walking. Not too handicap friendly. There are closer drop off points for those who are passengers. It was raining the day we had passes so didn't enjoy the visit. Had it been a good day my coments may have been better. The inside of the mansion was as beautiful as I had remembered it.
This is a really great place to visit but quite expensive. We visited during the pandemic, and unfortunately many attractions that were supposed to be included closed down early with no notice. It was very disappointing because we had planned to spend more time there. It is a beautiful place. I think I would like to go back one day and get the whole experience. It is an amazing property. We did the Legacy of the Land tour and I did the Rooftop tour as well as the house tour. We also ate at the Stable Restaurant for lunch.

Primarily came to visit the Biltmore estate, and it was less than a mile from this hotel to the entrance! Room was nicely appointed, quiet ,very comfortable beds and pillows. Good offerings for breakfast. Would highly recommend this to anyone for the proximity to the estate. Breakfast selection was good. The quality was microwave style foods which didn't taste very good, but to each its own.
